Summer Chamber Music Workshop
Aspen Winds, Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra, Highland City Arts Council and Summerhays Music of Orem are hosting a Summer Chamber Music Workshop open to students looking for an intense and rewarding educational opportunity in their musical careers. Students through college level will be accepted.
This summer you will have the opportunity to be placed in chamber ensembles (3-5 musicians) based on your instrument and ability level. If you are already part of a chamber group, you may audition as a group, but each member must register separately.
Auditions are Saturday, April 20th 1:00 -- 5:00 p.m. at the Highland Community Center. Be prepared to play a 3-5 minute solo. The registration fee is $25. This will be applied to the $200 tuition fee if you are accepted to the workshop. If you are not accepted, it will be refunded as long as you attend the audition.
Instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, violin, viola, cello, bass and piano. We will be forming a woodwind quintet, brass quintet , string quartet and other ensembles dependant on the quality of the applicants.
