New Leaders Arts Council of Michigan (NLACM)
I recently joined the New Leaders Arts Council of Michigan (NLACM), a group that's doing exciting things for the arts here in Michigan.The deadline for the new leaders grant is swiftly approaching. We will be holding workshops through out the state that are designed to help applicants learn how to submit strong proposals.
Workshop details:
- Detroit Workshop 1: Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30pm location TBD
- Detroit Workshop 2: Sunday, February 15 at 3:30pm location TBD
- Ann Arbor: Tuesday, February 17 at 5:30pm at The Neutral Zone in Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Grand Rapids: Monday, February 9 at 6:00pm West Michigan Center for Arts & Technology (WMCAT) in Grand Rapids,

Fast Facts:
- Applicants must match awarded grant funds 1 to 1. This match may be cash, in-kind or a combination of both.
- Applicants may request up to $4,000.00.
- Applicants can be individuals, an organization, or individuals working in partnership with an organization. For complete details on eligibility please see page 4 (of the PDF).
- Applicants must use the MCACA on-line application system at mcaca.egrant.net (no www).
- The grant award period (when funds must be used) is May 1, 2015 through September 30, 2015.
- Deadline to apply is Friday, February 27, 2015.
